What Naybar is, and how it relates to Ocalt
Naybar is completely free and stands on its own. The only thing it shares with Ocalt is the account you sign up with.
Open NaybarSteps
- Open naybar.com in a browser on your phone or computer.
- Tap Sign Up. You are taken to the Ocalt sign-up page, where you make an Ocalt account (or tap Sign In if you already have one).
- You come straight back to Naybar, signed in. Allow your location when your browser asks, so your feed can show what is around you.
What happens next
Your feed shows posts, geonotes and people near you, organised by distance rather than by who you follow.
Good to know
- Naybar is completely free. It has no plan or subscription, and nothing you do in Naybar uses the queries on your Ocalt account.
- Naybar is a standalone app with its own address, its own data and its own help at naybar.com/help. It is not part of the Ocalt workspace and does not reach your Ocalt files, machines, mail or business data.
- The only link between the two is signing up: your Ocalt account is how you sign in to Naybar. Deleting Naybar content does not touch anything in Ocalt.
- Naybar works in the browser and can be installed to your home screen like an app.
