Install the OcaltQL Client on Windows

Put a Windows PC on your account so you can reach it from any Ocalt app.

Open OcaltQL Client

Before you start

Go to client.ocalt.com and click Download the client. Download the Windows setup file.
Open the file. If a blue box says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway.
Follow the installer. It fetches the language runtimes as it goes, so leave it to finish.
The client opens its own page at localhost:12345. Click Configuration.
Type your Ocalt identity (email, phone or username). In Client key, paste your Ocalt Client key. (Older versions of the client label this field API key.)
Type a Machine alias, for example office-pc. Scripts and apps use this name. Click Save.

The PC shows as online in Fabric, Ocaltio and QueryAdmin. It starts with Windows from now on.

If the browser blocked the download itself, open the downloads list and choose Keep.
Nothing is opened on your network: the client only connects outwards.
