Open a Vast Drive in an FTP app

Make a sign-in so FileZilla, WinSCP or any FTPS app can open a Vast Drive.

Steps

  1. In the side panel, right-click the Vast Drive and choose FTP access….
  2. Under Sign-ins for this Vast Drive, type what the sign-in is for (for example Office scanner) and click Make sign-in.
  3. Copy the username and password that appear. The password is shown once.
  4. In your FTP app, connect with FTPS to the address and port shown at the top of the panel, using that username and password.

Good to know

  • The FTP server starts with the first sign-in. If it shows Stopped, click Start.
  • To cut a sign-in off, click Revoke on its row.
