Add a machine's disks as drives

Browse the disks of a laptop, phone or server that runs the OcaltQL Client.

Open Ocaltio

Before you start

  • The OcaltQL Client is installed and signed in on the machine.

Steps

  1. Open io.ocalt.com and click Add a drive… in the side panel.
  2. Click Ocalt machine, then Continue.
  3. Under Which machine?, click the machine. Online machines say Online.
  4. Tick the drives on it that you want in Ocaltio. Each is added as its own drive.
  5. Click Continue, check the names, and click Add drive.

Good to know

  • Machine not listed? Install and start the client on it, then click I have done it, look again.
  • An offline machine stays on your shelf. Its drives can be read once it is back online.
