Find and rotate your OcaltQL API key
Copy the key that scripts, the OcaltQL API and FTP use in place of your password, or issue a new one.
Open Ocalt accountSteps
- Go to accounts.ocalt.com and stay on the Dashboard.
- Find the card OcaltQL API Key and click Copy. Paste it wherever a script asks for a password, together with your identity (email, phone or username).
- To replace the key, click Generate New / Rotate.
- Type your account password in the box that opens and click Confirm. The new key appears in the card.
What happens next
The old key stops working at once. Update every script and FTP client that used it.
Good to know
- The API key cannot sign in to the website and cannot rotate itself, so a leaked key cannot lock you out.
- Your devices use a separate key. See Find your Ocalt Client key.
