Send emails on a schedule

Send a message once, every day, week or month, or on a cron schedule.

Open Ocalt Email

Steps

  1. Click Automation in the side menu, then Create a schedule.
  2. Under Details, type a Name and, if you like, a Description (optional).
  3. Under Message, pick Text, HTML or OcaltQL (a MAIL statement that sets its own recipients). Click Start from template… to use a saved template.
  4. Choose the Send as address, type the recipients (separate several with commas), the Subject and the body.
  5. Under Schedule, pick One time, Repeating or Cron expression. For repeating, set the Time, Time zone and Repeat: Daily, Weekly or Monthly (with Day of month or Last day of the month).
  6. Check Next runs on the right, leave Start active on, and click Create schedule.

Good to know

  • The calendar on the Automation page shows what fires on each day. Use Pause and Resume on a schedule to stop it for a while.
