Open a tunnel to a port on a machine
Give a local app, like a dev server on port 3000, a public web address.
Open FabricSteps
- Click Tunnels & Served Files in the side menu, then + New tunnel at the top right.
- Choose the Machine the app runs on.
- Type the Local port, for example 3000, and a Label (optional) like Next.js dev.
- Click Open tunnel.
What happens next
You get a public address ending in fabric.ocalt.site. Anyone with it reaches the port on your machine.
Good to know
- To close it, find it under Open tunnels and click Close.
- You can later point your own domain at it from Domains & Subdomains.
